General

Size: medium

 
Head

Shape:                        medium wedge; head length about 1/3 greater than the maximum width; narrowing to a strong chin. In profile a straight line is seen from the centre of the forehead to the end of the nose.
Skull:                            flat.
Nose:                           straight.
Chin:                            strong.
Whiskers/Eyebrows: of good length and crinkled.

 
Ears

Shape:         large, wide at the base and tapering to rounded tips, well covered with fine hair.
Placement: set high on the head.

 
Eyes

Shape: medium in size, almond in shape.
Colour: bright, clear and pure in colour.

 
Body

Structure: of medium length, hard and muscular, slender.

 
Legs:  long, straight and slender, giving an overall appearance of being high on legs.
Paws: small and oval.


Tail: long, fine and tapering; well covered with wavy hair.

 
Coat

Structure: short and dense, slightly plushy; without guard hairs. Wavy, particularly on the back and tail.
Colour:     all colour varieties and patterns are recognized, including those with white. Any amount of white is permitted.


Faults

Head: too broad head. 
            too long head.
Ears: small ears.
Eyes: slanted almond shaped eyes.
Body: cobby body. 
           lack of firm muscles.
Tail: short tail. 
         bare or bushy tail.
Coat: shaggy or too little waves in coat. 
           bare patches a fault in kittens, in adults a serious fault.
